Thursday Things... Cajun Queen

I maybe a North Carolinian, but my blood is rooted in Cajun things.  The wedding has caused me to think a lot about identity and family. My identity is Cajun. So thus, here you have it my Thursday Things: Cajun Queen!

gumbo, seafood a must--homemade rux the best

King Cake, no one has ever heard of them in my southern hometown, but they are the best. 

Find the baby--you get a year of luck and must provide the king cake for the next year
